SHA Small Research Grants Scheme
The Society for the History of Astronomy has a scheme of research grants for SHA members.
This scheme is intended to provide some limited financial support for members’ research. These grants are available only to SHA members in good standing and may be used to fund any expenses incurred while pursuing a research project in the history of astronomy, broadly understood.
A total sum of £1500 in any year has been set aside to provide research grants, and members may submit applications for up to this amount.
Applications should be submitted by 1st July to be considered for that year, and applicants will be notified of any awards made by 1st September.
